Organic GABA

Organic GABA comes from the bamboo mountain growing region in Nantou. It goes through a special process exposing the leaves to nitrogen which increases the GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) content by several times. GABA is believed to have calming properties. This is one of David Tsay's best selling teas. 

This tea is certified organic by the Japanese agency MOA (Mokichi Okada International Association). MOA farming methods uphold the highest standards of organic and ecological farming using no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. This certification is verified organic by Taiwan's CAS (Certified Agricultural Standards) agency issued by Taiwan's agricultural authority. 

The 100g package of this tea will come with the organic certification sticker on the bag. The smaller sizes are repackaged and do not bear the organic certification seal.
