Shipping Update for Our U.S. Tea Friends

Taiwan Post has temporarily suspended shipments to the US while they update their system to accomodate the new tariff policies . If you’d like, you can still go ahead and place your order—we’ll carefully set aside your tea and keep it safe until service resumes. Once shipping reopens, we’ll send your package as a gift valued under $100 to help you avoid extra fees.

If you’d rather not wait, we can also ship your order by DHL. The cost is higher, but just reach out and we’ll provide a quote and arrange everything for you.

Regarding Puerh orders : As a small studio, we keep only a limited stock of our premium pu’erh cakes, and each one is reserved with care for the customer. If you’d like to cancel, you’re welcome to do so within 3 days of placing your order for a full refund.

All our orders are carefully packed and shipped via airmail directly from Taiwan. Shipping is generally based on one of the 3 following box sizes with slight variation depending on the size and weight of your order :

SMALL $12-$15

MEDIUM $22-$35

LARGE $40-$65

(the above prices are based on U.S. prices. Other countries have slightly different rates that will be automatically calculated at checkout)

Here are some examples of how much can fit into each box size.

SMALL - most tea orders of 5 teas or less,  1 to 2 smaller teaware items, or a combination of a  piece of small teaware and a few 2 - 4 oz teas would likely fit in this box.

MEDIUM - most tea ware except the largest sizes will fit in this box. Multiple small teaware items or a few medium pieces of teaware would also fit. As much tea as you could possibly order would probably fit in this box size. A combination of a few tea ware items and a tea order would be very likely to fit.

LARGE - This box size is for our largest jars, kettles, stoves or the biggest teapots. There would still be room in the box for a good amount of tea as well.

*We care about the planet and reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible. A large percentage of our shipping materials are recycled. We recycle boxes as often as we can.  A majority of the newspaper and plastic wrap used in our packaging are recycled. Our packaging materials are often re-used by us several times. We pack our green, unfired teaware in bubble wrap and newspaper on the way to and from the kiln when we fire our pottery. As long as it's in good shape we use it again to ship your teaware to you. We put in extra effort to minimize our impact on the environment.
