Featuring a hand-painted double floral design from cobalt oxide, these small batch qinghua plates have a unique and aged feeling base made from a combination of wild clay and Japanese porcelain. To add an antiqued charm and variation, a thin layer of white glaze was sprayed with ash. These plates are ideal for the size to be used as a teapot stand for a small teapot. I think they pair beautifully with an unglazed teapot like our wild clay teapots.
This plate is also great for observing tea leaves or for a small snack.
