This Organic GABA comes from the bamboo mountain growing region in Nantou. It goes through a special process exposing the leaves to nitrogen which increases the GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) content by several times. GABA is believed to have calming properties.

We are proud to source this tea from a highly respected tea master and close friend David Tsay, whose deep commitment to traditional craft and terroir-driven tea shaping ensures quality in every step of production.This Organic Gaba is one of David's best selling teas.

This tea is certified organic by the Japanese agency MOA (Mokichi Okada International Association). MOA farming methods uphold the highest standards of organic and ecological farming using no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. This certification is verified organic by Taiwan's CAS (Certified Agricultural Standards) agency issued by Taiwan's agricultural authority.

The 100g package of this tea will come with the organic certification sticker on the bag.
