This handmade teabowl is made from stoneware and glazed with a sky blue ruyao celadon glaze. This glaze looks similar to some of the song dynasty ruyao glazes in the National Palace Museum in Taipei.
These plates are ideal for the size to be used as a teapot stand for a small teapot. I think they pair beautifully with an unglazed teapot like our wild clay teapots.
This plate is also great for observing tea leaves or for a small snack.
