Wood handle teapot w/ ash glaze & granite speckle 120ml

This teapot is made from white stoneware clay. Hand crushed granite stone from San Diego county has been mixed in. If you rock climb in San Diego, you'll be very familiar with the abundant granite formations scattered around San Diego county. For me, it's a fond memory of home. At high temperature, the iron in the granite melts into the glaze to form black specks that bloom through the clay into the glaze. The wood for the handle is sustainably harvested from local materials. We collect wood that has been cut for landscaping and driftwood from the river near our house.
