Textured slip dark clay teapot 100ml

This teapot is made from a blend of coarse-textured dark-colored clays. The inside of the pot is glazed and has a 7-hole filter behind the spout. This clay is high-fired in reduction to 1235°C.
These pots feature a balanced, functional design that is easy to handle and comfortable to pour with.
The wonderfully coarse textured red clay is high in iron and features black specks from iron mineral deposits in the clay. Since this pot is glazed inside it can be used with any kind of tea.
This teapot pairs well with these teapot stands and our celadon flower cups.
