These smaller jars are great for keeping a small amount of tea on your tea table for drinking. The aroma of the tea will open up a bit after being placed in the jar for a short period of time. I use them for keeping puerh that I've broken off the cake ready to drink. This is also beneficial to equalize or revitalize a tea after years of storage to make a more balanced and rich brew.
The clay is shaped by hand and textured using tools to create surface patterns on the jar. Due to this process, each jar is distinctive and one of a kind.
