This tea cup is made from a blend of stoneware and locally sourced wild clay.
This teacup is covered in a wild clay slip, then covered with 2 glazes. The first layer and inside are glazed with our moon white glaze, with a second glaze on top to provide a special effect.
The glaze has some crackles that will stain with use, enhancing its beauty over time. This teacup is glazed with our moon white glaze which is our best glaze for tea. It can be used for any kind of tea, green, oolong to puerh and everything in between with good results.
