This Buncheong style teapot is made from well-vitrified stoneware clay and porcelain slip. This ceramic technique was developed in 14th century Korea. It was later adopted by Japanese artists. Its natural, unassuming and practical esthetic, makes it still beautiful today. The inside is unglazed. Because the clay is well vitrified, it can be used with any kind of tea. It would be great for roasted oolong or puerh.
