This Cha hai is the result of a special wood firing of famous Taiwanese teaware maker Zhang Ge Ming's wood kiln in northern Taiwan. I was honored to do this firing with him and another well-known ceramics artist Peter Kuo. The pots in this firing came out with bright orange flashing. This is a really unique result as I've never seen these colors from any other wood firing.
The pair share readily observable similarities in terms of their bright orange flashing and sizes, yet they are also different in design and details. Pick one that suits your mood for the day!
